Our Story
Rob and Megan met while serving with the same Missions Organisation (YWAM) back in 2023.
Rob had been travelling to every continent with Australia yet to be crossed off the list. At the time when God invited him to Go he was in Florida planning to commit 2 years to staffing with the Orlando base. Shortly after arriving in Australia he met Megan and the two immediately clicked and would spend hours talking about their individual journey’s with Jesus + their current discoveries in the bible/walk with the Lord. After a lot of back and forth, RJ and Megan decided to take the risk and see where it went, and every day since then it has been better and better each day.
What was your very first impression of each other?
RJ: When I first met Megan, I really didn’t know what to expect, she was smart and kind and had the attention of any room she walked into - I remember thinking “who is this woman?”
Megan: When I first met RJ, I thought he was from Texas, I had never heard of Idaho before!
Who made the first move and how?
Megan made the first move, after much flirting from RJ she told him that if he wasn’t intending to ask her out he needed to stop, but if he wanted to ask her out he was fine to continue flirting! and so, RJ continued flirting his way to a first and then many more dates!
Who said I love you First?
RJ said I love you first.
Who is the "better half" at cooking?
RJ is 100% the better half at cooking, but Megan definitely has him beat when it comes to desserts!

The Vision for the Day is an intimate style Vogue moment that leads its way towards the end of the night to a country Dive bar and celebration. Feel free to bring boots to dance or change into!

Transportation
Good news: our ceremony and reception are practically neighbours! If you're wearing comfortable shoes, it’s a very easy 10-minute walk between the church and the W. If you want to keep your dancing shoes in pristine condition, we recommend ordering an Uber or taxi to carpool with fellow guests. Public transport is also readily available right outside. See you there!
